IARDA's Board of Governers joined hands to make a difference to have a positive impact and to use their skills and expretise to contribute towards any development they can bring about.  The members of the board, as a group, have trustee and legal responsibility for the actions and operation of the organization. The  minimum levels of involvement required of board members in organizational and operational management are :

• financial management
• planning
• programme
• resource development (fund raising)
• human resource management
• information management
• marketing and public relations
• governance (board affairs

_________________________________________________________________________________Mr Samisamad is the founding members of the non profit since its start in 2005. Mr Samad who is aslo the founding member consented to be the Chief Executive officer (CEO). Mr samad's  background is in Ag-economics brings experience of a variety of national and international development projects.  He contributed in various capacities to the non profit sector  as well worked with consultants and international aid donor agencies. Most of his experience is in multisectoral projects.  Samad also served as Deputy secretary with the government of Pakistan in the fields of health, special development unit, agriculture, forestry environment and rural development. ___________________________________________________________________________________________Mr Mr Kerry dunn who kindly consented to be the board member, is an accomplished Management accountant by profession. Mr Dunn feels strongly about international development and has served on senior assignments with both government as well as private sectors in Canada. 

________________________________________________________________________________________Ms Humaira a board member, despite her busy life in philanthropy feels strongly about development in poorer countries. Particularly the state of women and children in some countries are far from normal, while the women are considered worst than chattels and children are often deprived of basic education. She hopes to bring a difference and is currently busy with a number of woment rights acitivists around the globe.

________________________________________________________________________________Mr Urfan ahmed khan is a civil engineer based in Cambridge, Ontario kindly consented to be a member of the board.  Mr khan speciallises in building designing and is very active in community uplift acitivities particularly in social sector.

__________________________________________________________________________________Mr Abidullah jan  is a prolific writer and community development specialist. Mr. Jan is the author of seven books including: "The Ultimate Tragedy: Colonialists Rushing to Global War to Save the Crumbling Empire", "Afghanistan: The Genesis of the Final Crusade",  Mr jan strongly believes in sustainable development through community participation.
