Established in 2005, IARDA is a registered Canadian non profit based in Ottawa,Ontario,Canada. Its a non profit which is solely dedicated to Agriculture and Rural development. It hopes to improve the  earnings and income of farmers and rural community through efforts in improved inputs. As an organization that advocates to reduce and eventually eliminate poverty and works to bring about sustainable development by partnering with other like minded non profits in Canada as well as in other countries in fields of Environment, Agriculture and Rural development.

Since its inception IARDA has been successful in forming alliances with like minded non profits, charitable and volunteer organizations in Asia, Africa and in South East Asia.
